Last week marked a special moment for the founders of Campbell and Hale Financial Planners as three generations of advisers gathered for lunch to celebrate over four decades of service and a promising future ahead. Founders John Campbell and Christopher Hale, who established the firm over 40 years ago with a vision to provide personalized and trustworthy financial guidance, were joined by the newest addition to the team, Matthew Choat—a young, dynamic “professional year adviser” continuing the family tradition.
When John Campbell retired in 2007, Chris changed the business name to Aspire Wealth & Protection and the new offices opened at 26 Donald Street Nelson Bay in 2014.
The meeting was a poignant reflection of the firm’s enduring values and growth. John and Chris ad Steve Vautier, shared stories of the early days when they started the business with a focus on building lifelong client relationships. Sitting alongside them, Matthew brought fresh perspectives, showcasing how the next generation is adapting to a rapidly changing financial landscape while staying true to the core principles of the firm.
Matthew’s decision to join the family business Aspire Wealth & Protection is more than just a career move; it’s a continuation of a legacy. “As I’ve been able to meet many of our long standing clients I have been able to see the impact this family business has had on their lives. Having always had an interest in finance and investments, It’s inspiring to be part of something so meaningful.” he shared during the lunch.
As Aspire Wealth & Protection moves into the future, this cross-generational partnership exemplifies the balance of tradition and innovation—ensuring that the firm remains a trusted resource for clients for decades to come.
