As a financial adviser, I believe that our money is a means to an end; what we spend our money on makes our life what it is. We all have boring bills that need paying; however, where possible, we need to spend our money on the things that will bring meaning to our lives.
I recently fulfilled a dream of mine to build a guitar. For two weeks, I attended Hancock Guitars, a luthier on the Gold Coast and spent 7 hours each day working with a block of Queensland Maple to mould it into an Electric guitar.
I was delighted with the outcome and now have a beautiful guitar to add to my collection, as you can see in the pictures; however, it is the experience I will remember most and take with me through life. Money very well spent.
